A high-resolution, low-noise, wide-bandwidth Time Base Corrector (TBC) that Gen-locks any two video sources for synchronous effects. Includes dual-channel frame synchronization, colour-bar test pattern generators, dual-channel digital colour processing, full frame memory and still frame capability. Used with an edit controller this TBC will let you produce true A/B rools, wipes, dissolves and seamless cuts. The TCB-HQ also corrects the time-base error of any heterodyne VTR for broadcast teleproduction and synchronizes CATV broadcasts to encode the video signal's blanking region with head-end scrambling.

FAQ's
- Do I need a TBC?
- Unfortunately the more you play your original tapes they become worn. This is due to the mechanical workings of all VCR's. Once degradation of the tape has happened, it is impossible to make a quality copy without using a TBC.
- Does it remove all copy protection?
- Yes
- Is the TCB-HQ able to deal with (both input and output) different world standards?
- No - It can accept any world standard and pass it through. But it will not convert, i.e. input NTSC and output PAL
- What are the extra benefits of having a TBC?
- A TBC will automatically remove any disruptive sync signals or copy protect signals on pre-recorded DVD's or Videotapes, thus ensuring professional style copying onto any DVD-R or VHS format recorder.
- What is Time Base Error?
- There are several visual examples - jittering pictures, unstable pictures, loss of sync data, geometrical distortion or bending of the picture, white lines apparent at the top and bottom of your screen.
